TARGET - Tuberculosis Animal Research and Gene Evaluation Taskforce

In 2002, TARGET (Tuberculosis Animal Research and Gene Evaluation Taskforce) was formed in response to a request from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIH/NIAID) to enable the modeling of human tuberculosis in multiple animal species using defined protocols and testing defined mutants of M. tuberculosis

TB Alliance

The TB Alliance is a not-for-profit, product development partnership accelerating the discovery and development of new TB drugs that will shorten treatment, be effective against susceptible and resistant strains, be compatible with antiretroviral therapies for those HIV-TB patients currently on such therapies, and improve treatment of latent infection.
